Wayback to the creation of your website that is. The Internet Archive Wayback Machine takes snapshots of websites and archives them online creating a great way to recover lost content in an emergency (if it’s past the scope of Google Caching). I have had a number of occasions where I was able to restore WordPress Widgets and pages from sites where the owner accidentally deleted or otherwise lost some content.
Go to the Wayback Machine and search on your site; if it doesn’t appear in the results, check the following issues:
Check your robots.txt file and remove the following if it’s present
Unfortunately removing this code won’t allow you to go way back, but it will start a new clock so you can go WayBack in the future.
Ask WayBack to Check your Site/Page and add it to the archive
Simply go to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine and enter your URL in the box that says “Save Page Now” (see post image).
